Vehicles for Sale
- Are all vehicle donations tax deductible? All vehicles donated to charitable organizations are granted a tax exemption under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. This basically means that at the end of the year, you can deduct a vehicle donation on your taxes. WARNING: Not all charitable organizations can grant tax exemptions under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Any Charity Unlimited has ensured that every charity it works with has a copy of their 501 (c) (3) paperwork on file.

- Get more information directly from the Internal Revenue Service.

- How do I determine the value of my vehicle donation? The IRS requires that any vehicle donation with an estimated fair market value of $5,000.00 or more must have an appraisal completed by a certified third-party or impartial appraiser. This expense will be arranged and paid for by Any Charity Unlimited.

- Should I itemize my deduction? If your motivation in donating a car revolves primarily around tax deduction purposes, you will need to itemize your deductions on your Federal and State Income Tax Returns.

- If you are not currently itemizing your deductions on a Long Form, your accountant can tell you if making a car donation will justify switching to itemizing your yearly deductions and using the longer form.

- Any Charity Unlimited provides each donor with the needed IRS tax form 8283. Form 8283 documents any information regarding noncash charitable contributions.

- What proof do I need for my deduction? The 501c form information qualifies as proof for any deduction as long as the vehicle sells for less than five hundred (500) dollars.

- At the donation you as the customer will receive a 501c form. This will immediately allow you to write off up to five hundred (500) dollars. Once the vehicle sells for more than five hundred (500) dollars, we at Any Charity Unlimited will mail a 1098c form with the amount of vehicle sale. Once you have received the 1098c form, you can claim the entire value of the vehicle sale on your taxes.
